Beginning last November, a curious trend started happening among news networks in their effort to sort out their rocky and contentious relationship with the Trump White House and in particular, Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

After noting huge gaps in between press briefings, it was already clear to the producers of any and all cable news channels that Sanders was not interested in doing her job. In fact, she was slated to be gone by the end of the year — we’re not exactly sure what’s up with her still being around.

Since that time, both cable news networks have exercised discretion as to which live announcements, briefings, and speeches they would air — and the number they didn’t cover is not zero.

So what do we do without live coverage of Sarah Sanders and Donald Trump feeding America lies? I guess I could make a sandwich or something.
