Trump’s Long Time Limo Driver Speaks, Confirms He’s A Horrible Human Being

He is just the WORST.

If there’s only a handful of things we know about Donald Trump as far as his actual business practices go, they pretty much line up like this: He thinks every success is literally because of him personally — his name, his words, etc. — and that anything people buy at least one of is a success; he is historically terrible at everything he ever does and has no idea this is the case; and he makes his money by reneging on debts.

It’s that last one that causes him the most grief — Trump and his businesses have been on the defense in over 3,500 legal cases, an overwhelming majority of which center around his refusal to pay people who have already done work for him.

But the endless list of contractors, builders, painters, caterers, planners, and people from across the spectrum of the service industry are faceless to him. They exist to fill his needs in his mind. It’s the ones who have been personally employed to do things not related to one of his businesses that are most harmed by his M.O. of skipping out on debts.

That’s why the lawsuit by his limo driver says more than just that Donald Trump is a cheapskate.

When Noel Cintron filed suit for six years’ worth of overtime pay he never got from Trump, the fact that it was only that long was because the statute of limitations was up for the years prior to that span — he’d simply gone on believing for far too long that he would be paid like he was supposed to be. In fact, we’re not quite sure how long Cintron was being bilked out of the overtime pay he was owed by law, but it could be considerable since he was Trump’s driver for twenty-five years.

How do you ride in the back of a car driven by the same guy for two and a half DECADES, look him in the eye every time he opens the door so you can exit the vehicle like the ruler of some tiny nation, and decide that he, his wife, his kids, and his entire life aren’t real enough for you to consider giving him the paycheck he’s earned?

Well, in Cintron’s own words, you put on:

[An] utterly callous display of unwarranted privilege and entitlement and without even a minimal sense of noblesse oblige.”

In other words, you act like a rich dick who thinks even the people he’s closest to are barely human. It’s a good thing he doesn’t have to pay people to be his wife and kids, or they might find out quickly just how little they mean to him, as well.
